A to Z is an American romantic comedy television series that was created by Ben Queen (Century City). He will serve as an executive producer with Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation, Boston Public, Angie Tribeca, The Office (US)) and Will McCormack (Alphas, Brothers & Sisters, Medium) for Warner Bros. Television. The series debuted on October 2, 2014, on NBC, where it will air on Thursday nights at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT)/8:30 p.m. (CT) during the 2014–15 television season.
The series will follow the lives of Andrew (Ben Feldman, Living with Fran, Superstore, Drop Dead Diva, Mad Men), an employee at an internet dating site who dreams of meeting the girl of his dreams, and Zelda (Cristin Milioti, The Mindy Project, Fargo, How I Met Your Mother), a no-nonsense lawyer who was raised by a hippie mother and carries a rebellious streak. By an accidental chance of fate, Zelda meets Andrew to resolve a mismatch dating dispute and these two single people suddenly find themselves falling for each other. From there, the series chronicles their relationship timeline “from A to Z”, as narrated by Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy).
